Ray Simpson was born in Scotland in 1928. He was raised in a Christian household, but he was always fascinated by other religions. In his early twenties, he began to explore Sikhism. In 1953, he met Sant Baba Sohan Singh Ji, a Sikh master who taught him about the Sikh faith. Simpson was so inspired by Singh Ji's teachings that he decided to convert to Sikhism. He took the Sikh name Ravinder Singh, and he has been a practicing Sikh ever since.
Simpson's conversion to Sikhism was a controversial decision at the time. Many of his friends and family members did not understand why he would want to convert to a religion that they knew very little about. However, Simpson was undeterred. He believed that Sikhism was the true path for him, and he was determined to follow it.
Simpson has been a practicing Sikh for over 60 years. He has dedicated his life to spreading the message of Sikhism to the world. He has written several books about Sikhism, and he has lectured extensively on the faith. He has also established several Sikh schools and temples.
Simpson's story is an inspiring example of how one person can make a difference in the world. He has shown that it is possible to overcome prejudice and ignorance, and to live a life of peace and understanding.
