Cicely Tyson: A seven-time Emmy Award winner, Tyson is known for her powerful performances in such films as Sounder and The Autobiography of Miss Jane Pittman.
Halle Berry: The first African American woman to win the Academy Award for Best Actress, Berry has starred in a wide range of films, including Monster's Ball, Die Another Day, and Cloud Atlas.

Overcoming Obstacles
